On August 29th, COPE Ontario joined the Fight Ford protest in Hamilton. Members from Local 527 and some COPE Ontario staff rallies to stand up for education cuts! All across the province crowds of Ontarians gathered to let their frustration with Ford be heard.
It was a great turn out and the city of Hamilton lived up to its rep as a union city! Next steps: get Ford out! Smaller classroom sizes, more education staff and better pay!
