Big wins for COPE members at Northern Credit Union (Locals 26 and 96) and Copperfin Credit Union (Local 454)!

The agreements covering these three bargaining units have come together into one combined deal, ratified and covering 202 members. The two-year agreement brings guaranteed 3.5% wage increases each year.

 

Job protection during leave just got stronger, with the sunset clause dropping from 18 months to 12. Members suspended pending an investigation will now keep getting paid while it’s sorted out. Part-time members get the same benefit coverage as full-time staff, and pension matching climbs to 5%.

 

There’s also a new Short Term Incentive Plan, a yearly bonus based on the Credit Union hitting its targets: 3% at target, up to 4.5% if it’s exceeded.
